Wingspan: 70-80 mm(7-8 cm), both male and female.
Flight pattern: Generally slow and slightly zigzag flight.
Habitat: It can be found in all plain lands. It avoids hilly jungles.
Larval food plants: Large Milkweed (Calotropis Gigantea),Tropical Milkweed(Asclepias Curassavica) etc.
It is a very common species.The range of the plain tiger extends from Africa and southern Europe, eastwards via Sri Lanka, India, and Myanmar to China, Java and Sulawesi. It can be found all over Bangladesh.
